Uriel Corporation engages in Technology Transfer, Technology Acquisition, and Technology Brokering operations consulting, also called transfer of technology (TOT). Technology Transfer is the process of transferring skills, knowledge, technologies, methods of manufacturing, samples of manufacturing and facilities among individual inventors, corporations, governments or universities and other institutions to ensure that scientific and technological developments are accessible to a wider range of users. Said participants involved in Technology Transfer work towards further developing and exploiting technology, where technology transfer agreements are usually entered into where one or more parties participate to develop WIN-WIN alliances for the development of new products, processes, applications, materials or services. It is closely related to (and may arguably be considered a subset of) knowledge transfer. The transfer of technology can move from one area to another within an organization or across organizations. Technology Transfer also occurs when technologies are moved from applied research centers to research and development departments or from one company or individual to another.

The Uriel Corporation Think Tank can act as a Technology Broker where Uriel works to bridge the emergent worlds of technology, where virtual ideas and concepts are modeled and refined through experimentation, through CAD development and other engineering processes. Uriel seeks to broker and develop Client Products by acting as a broker for Client Technologies by forming commercial agreements with interested parties, or by working with Clients to develop Client Technologies through the development of new corporations and subsidiaries where Uriel plays the key managing role that might lead to commercialization success. Such efforts are geared to lead Clients to take proprietary products from the virtual world to the physical world. Virtual modeling leads to fully developed prototypes which are then fully refined and developed by collaborators that Uriel would put together as a broker to form alliances with third parties or where Uriel might create a Client-Uriel jointly owned corporation that might lead to commercial success.

Uriel assists companies or individuals through its alliances and ad-hoc consulting panel members to bring new concepts from the virtual world into the physical world where development and know how of new unique or revolutionary concepts are refined and applied in product development operations through team efforts and through scientific conceptualization, methods, or processes for new situations or circumstances resulting in new-twist proprietary products that can be applied for many targeted applications.

Should you be interested in Technology Search and Technology Acquisition, Uriel can find and negotiate technologies or develop technology with unique proprietary features for your acquisition interests.

Research and Development (R&D), also known in Europe as research and technical (or technological) development (RTD), is a general term for activities in connection with corporate or governmental innovation. R&D is a component of Innovation and is situated at the front end of the Innovation lifecycle. Innovation builds on R&D and includes various commercialization phases. The activities that are classified as R&D differ from company to company, but there are two primary models, with an R&D department being either staffed by inventors, visionaries, out-of-the-box thinkers, prototype developers and engineers tasked with directly developing new products, or staffed with industrial scientists and tasked with applied research in scientific or technological fields which may facilitate future product development. In either case, R&D differs from the vast majority of corporate activities in that it is not often intended to yield immediate profit, and it generally carries greater risk and an uncertain return on investment.

When the Uriel Corporation Think Tank gets involved in R&D efforts for its Clients and for its own internal projects, it engages in high-level brainstorming sessions with its Clients and with its ad-hoc project consultants to pick apart every aspect of a design to come up with a higher level of new-twist value added ideas and solutions that usually provide a higher level of innovation and functionality than what a Client started with. Final designs for Client products may differ greatly from what a Client initially started with.

Uriel works with its Clients to minimize the risk of R&D efforts by brainstorming to develop new-twist revolutionary Client ideas that are highly novel, innovative, and unique and that have a higher level of proprietary functionality over prior designs and over the Prior Art. Uriel always strives to develop products that will have a higher level of proprietary functionality in the effort to develop better patent applications and to produce products that would be more successful in the marketplace. Uriel works to improve the language of patents where it is heavily involved in guiding patent counsel and engineering teams where Uriel provides value added services to add features and functionalities that a Client might have never considered.

Uriel's R&D efforts undertake multiple collaborative brainstorming sessions that go over every aspect of a design. Efforts are geared towards developing enhanced patent documentation that is refined through extensive review of patent searches, through competitive analyses, and by engaging in online market research and focus group research that Uriel performs for its clients. These efforts almost always lead to various design alternatives that can be included in patents, which greatly increases the value of a patent and offers the Client the possibility to create a larger portfolio of patents, patent continuations, or patent continuations in part. As an end result of enhancing a Client's patent applications, the Client benefits in the end by owning a better patented product design that can be more aggressive and successful in the marketplace.

Every aspect of a design that is uncovered in our research is reviewed and analyzed to produce enhanced final patent and engineering specifications for better prototypes and better final product designs. These efforts enhance patent applications with features that have a more advanced functionality to create products having a higher level of potential success. The efforts undertaken are also designed to create products, patents and intellectual property for Uriel Clients that have a higher degree and probability of being awarded a patent. More importantly, the value added features that are created through Uriel's Brainstorming Sessions are designed to lead to creating products that have greater customer appeal. In this way, final products can be designed with enhanced patent protection that are better positioned strategically to compete in the international marketplace.

Management consulting is the practice of helping organizations to improve their performance, operating primarily through the analysis of existing organizational problems and the development of plans for improvement. Organizations may draw upon the services of management consultants for a number of reasons, including gaining external (and presumably objective) advice and access to the consultants' specialized expertise.

As a result of their exposure to, and relationships with numerous organizations, consulting firms are typically aware of industry "best pracitces", although the specific nature of situations under consideration may limit the transferability of such practices from one organization to another.

Consultancies may also provide organizational change management assistance, development of coaching skills, process analysis, technology implementation, strategy development, or operational improvement services. Management consultants often bring their own proprietary methodologies or frameworks to guide the identification of problems and to serve as the basis for recommendations for more effective or efficient ways of performing work tasks.

The Uriel Think Tank's Management Consulting Practice primarily focuses on proprietary product development and commercialization initiatives and business ventures where it advises Client companies and individuals in order to assist them to develop their products from the concept stage to full blown prototypes and final products that can be made, used, or sold in the marketplace. Uriel also assists Clients to form the alliances needed to successfully achieve those goals. Uriel engages in product and patent enhancement, it advises companies throughout every step of the process, it builds and directs management teams, and it gets Clients over commercialization and alliance hurdles to help lead them in the best direction for successful commercialization.

Uriel can develop Strategic Alliances for its Clients. A strategic alliance is an agreement between two or more parties to pursue a set of agreed upon objectives needed while remaining independent organizations. This form of cooperation lies between mergers and acquisitions and organic growth. Strategic alliances occur when two or more organizations join together to pursue mutual benefits.

Partners may provide the strategic alliance with resources such as products, distribution channels, manufacturing capability, project funding, capital equipment, knowledge, expertise, or intellectual property. The alliances that Uriel can develop, involve a cooperation or collaboration which aims for a synergy where each partner hopes that the benefits from the alliance will be greater than those from individual efforts. The alliance often involves technology transfer (access to knowledge and expertise), economic specialization, shared expenses and shared risk.

4: Laboratory Design; Rapid Prototyping; Manufacturing; Quality Control Improvement & Consulting; Manufacturing Analysis & Line Design; Manufacturing Equipment Sales, Installation & Consulting; Laboratory Design, Enhancement, & Joint Project Initiatives; Quality Control Consulting:

Rapid prototyping is a group of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data. Construction of the part or assembly is usually done using 3D Printing or "additive layer manufacturing" technology.

The first methods for rapid prototyping became available in the late 1980s and were used to produce models and prototype parts. Today, they are used for a wide range of applications and are used to manufacture production-quality parts in relatively small numbers if desired economically. Advances in technology that has created economical Rapid Prototyping Machines has encouraged many online service bureaus. Historically, many prototypes were developed through sculpting techniques used by 19th-century sculptors. Some modern sculptors use the progeny technology to produce exhibitions. The ability to reproduce designs from a dataset has also advanced to the point where it is now possible to interpolate volumetric data from one-dimensional images.

As with CNC subtractive methods, the computer-aided-design - computer-aided manufacturing CAD-CAM workflow in the traditional Rapid Prototyping process starts with the creation of geometric data. Parts are modeled using 3D modeling software where solids are created using CAD software, or 2D slice samples are taken of objects using a scanning device. For Rapid Prototyping, this data must represent a valid geometric model whose boundary surfaces enclose a finite volume. The data must be solid where the data contains no holes exposing the interior, and where the data does not fold back on itself. In other words, the object must have an “inside.” The model is valid if for each point in 3D space that the computer can determine uniquely. The point in 3D space can lie inside, on, or outside the boundary surface of the model.

CAD post-processors approximate the application vendors’ internal CAD geometric forms (e.g., B-splines) with a simplified mathematical form, which in turn is expressed in a specified data format. This is a common feature in Additive Manufacturing: STL (stereolithography). Through CAD Software, STL files are created which are a de facto standard for transferring solid geometric models to Rapid Prototyping machines.

Rapid Prototype machines take a geometric model, and slice it into layers, where the slices are scanned into lines, producing a 2D drawing used to generate a trajectory to guide the Print Head Motors of such machines. The Print heads are moved to the proper coordinates to eject plastic-type material, or the move lasers to harden liquid plastic to build parts in the build envelope of such machines. As the part is being generated in the build envelope, the prototype part is physically built layer-by-layer until it is completed.

Other Rapid Prototyping Machines exist where a process called "sintering" is used. Sintering is the process of compacting and forming a solid mass of material by heat and/or pressure without melting it to the point of liquefaction.

Sintering happens naturally in mineral deposits or as a manufacturing process used with metals, ceramics, plastics, and other materials. The atoms in the materials diffuse across the boundaries of the particles, fusing the particles together and creating one solid piece. Because the sintering temperature does not have to reach the melting point of the material, sintering is often chosen as the shaping process for materials with extremely high melting points such as tungsten and molybdenum. The study of sintering in metallurgy powder-related processes is known as powder metallurgy.

Still other Rapid Prototyping pieces of equipment exist for electronic prototype design and the production of prototype circuit boards.

In product development initiatives it is now very common to use a variety of Rapid Prototyping Techniques and Equipment to refine a design specification. In the design process a product might be re-designed several times before committing to the final design. Rapid Protoyping is a very cost effective solution to make iterative changes to a design before committing large expenditures for final tooling and fixturing required to produce commercial-ready versions of product. With Rapid Prototyping, a great deal of money can be saved by producing parts that can be analyzed for form, fitness, and function before committing to the final design where expensive tooling would be required.

Uriel Consulting in these areas can take a project from the pre-prototype stages, where only a concept is in the mind of a Client, where the design can be further engineered, and be tweaked through 3D CAD modeling to produce various iterative changes that might be needed to produce final design criteria for production. Using rapid prototyping techniques saves Clients time and money when working on finalizing a product design. Clients get to market faster with less expenditures. In the highly competitive global marketplace tools like Rapid Prototyping are now a crucial component of the physical product design development life cycle that can bring about product reality from the virtual world in a very streamlined fashion. Further consulting services can include taking a product into final manufacturing and production, with quality control testing and sampling to insure product quality.

5: Data Center Design, Development, Installation, Implementation, & Management; Telecommunications Consulting; Computer Systems Development, Installation, Implementation; Computer Systems Management; Computer Equipment, Software Sales, Installation, Consulting; Electronic Instrumentation Equipment Sales, Installation, Consulting; Laboratory Instrumentation Equipment Sales, Installation, Consulting; Optical Instrumentation Equipment Sales, Installation, Consulting:

A data center is a facility used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems. It generally includes redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls (e.g., air conditioning, fire suppression) and various security devices. Large data centers are industrial scale operations using as much electricity as a small town.

A data center can occupy one room of a building, one or more floors, or an entire building. Most of the equipment is often in the form of servers mounted in 19 inch rack cabinets, which are usually placed in single rows forming corridors (so-called aisles) between them. This allows people access to the front and rear of each cabinet. Servers differ greatly in size from 1U servers to large freestanding storage silos which occupy many square feet of floor space. Some equipment such as mainframe computers and storage devices are often as big as the racks themselves, and are placed alongside them. Very large data centers may use shipping containers packed with 1,000 or more servers each; when repairs or upgrades are needed, whole containers are replaced (rather than repairing individual servers).

Local building codes may govern the minimum ceiling heights.

6: Website Development, Maintenance & Design; Digital Services; Custom Programming & Software Development; Software Functionality Improvement Consulting; Advertising Consulting Development & Production, & Website Promotion Services; Multimedia, Commercial Photography, Video Taping, Non-Linear Digital Editing; Graphic Arts Production Work; Multimedia Development & Production; 2D, 3D Animation, & Special Effects Development; Develop Animated 2D Or 3D Presentations Showing Product Functionality; Public Relations Consulting & Services:

Web development is a broad term for the work involved in developing a web site for the Internet (World Wide Web) or an intranet (a private network). Web development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, and social network services. A more comprehensive list of tasks to which web development commonly refers, may include web design, web content development, client liaison, client-side/server side scripting, web server, and network security configuration, and e-commerce development. Among web professionals, "web development" usually refers to the main non-design aspects of building web sites: writing markup and coding.

Most recently, Web development has come to mean the creation of content management systems or CMS. These CMS can be made from scratch, proprietary (such as Open Text), or open source (such as Drupal). In broad terms the CMS acts as middleware between the database and the user through the browser. A principle benefit of a CMS is that it allows non-technical people to make changes to their Web site without having technical knowledge.

For larger organizations and businesses, web development teams can consist of hundreds of people (web developers) and follow standard methods like Agile methodologies while developing websites. Smaller organizations may only require a single permanent or contracting developer, or secondary assignment to related job positions such as a graphic designer and/or an information systems technician. Web development may be a collaborative effort between departments rather than the domain of a designated department.

Uriel can develop Websites for any type of Client. When Uriel consults with Clients for Product Development Projects, it is critical for a Client to establish a web presence for a commercial product venture. Uriel can develop such websites for proprietary product initiatives that the Uriel Think Tank gets involved with as part of the product commercialization consulting process.
